Curriculum Vitae

Tomáš Salamon is an attorney with more than 23 years of experience in the Czech legal environment, during which he has mainly provided legal services to foreign investors operating in the Czech Republic. He has provided legal advice on significant, complex transactions in the energy, telecommunications, real estate and privatization sectors, with emphasis on contract law, M&A, financing, competition law, mining law, energy and telecommunications regulation, especially for the companies: ECE, Citibank, Velux CR, Celestica, CSOB, RWE, innogy, as well as the National Property Fund of the Czech Republic and the National Property Fund of the Slovak Republic.

Tomáš has been involved in the competition law agenda for a long time, whilst he was involved in obtaining permission from the Office for the Protection of Competition for the purchase of Transgas, as. and subsidiaries of the RWE Group as part of the privatization of the Czech gas industry. He provided legal support in investigations and proceedings conducted by the Office for the Protection of Competition against RWE Group companies and similar investigations by the European Commission. Tomáš is also an expert on legal issues related to natural gas storage and trading, as well as telecommunications. Most recently, he was the lead lawyer of the innogy support team in the acquisition of CNG Vital and Magnalink.
